Project description:  Luxury custom wine cabinet for a sailing boat. This project consisted of designing and fitting two cabinets, one refrigerated for the wine and the other one to allocate the glasses and wine ware. The challenge was to fit all the elements required for the full function of the wine cabinet in the narrow space without compromising the design. The result was the one above, two customised cabinets made from Rimex, Stainless Steel, brass details, clear acrylic shelves and LED lighting.
Task: From the client’s specification regarding the capacity of bottles required I work with the engineer team to design the two cabinets in 3D first and then convert it into 2D files, both for prototyping and for final production.
